Nominations and Elections Committee
Ensure fidelity with DCAEYC's Policy and Procedures regarding nominations for Governing Board positions and annual elections. Outreach to general membership for open Member-at-Large positions. Create a ballot and oversee the election process at DCAEYC's Annual Meeting.
Ensure fidelity with DCAEYC's Policy and Procedures regarding formation of the annual budget, as well as maintain and review the annual budget throughout the fiscal year to ensure projections match actual spending and income.
Communication and Outreach Committee
To increase our membership by outreaching the early childhood community. To promote the association and its mission through communication with members.
We would welcome members' help with DCAEYC events including, the meet and Greet, the Week of the Young Child, and the Pamper the Provider. Members can help plan events, put together goodie bags or secure donations from local businesses, help set up or take down the space, create advertising, or assist during the event.
